Goodbye Dad...

I lost my dad on 15th January 2011. These past few months have been painful and erratic because of his illness. Will resume blogging soon. Thank you all for your good wishes.

    I am so sorry for the loss of your dear father. Please know I willbe praying for you during this difficult time. he is at peace and with your dear mother.

    I'm very sorry about your loss... Today I stumbled across a very interesting blog, I think it was called "the modern mourner", written by someone who has gone through loss as well. Visit, maybe you will find something that will help you to feel better.

    Oh sweetie I am so so sorry for your loss. I know how difficult it is. And I also do understand that it is nice to check in for a little positive beauty and inspiration from time to time. My best friend passed away a few weeks ago on Jan 2nd. Definitely not the way to start a new year. I took off from blogging for a few weeks but found it was exactly what I needed to get back to. It's been such a source of strenth for me.

    You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. And don't be hard on yourself. Allow yourself to mourn as you celebrate his life. xoxo

    Life is always a roller coaster. We're happy then sad.. have to move on :< Where there is sadness or hardship there is bound to be a great lesson which may bring happiness : )

    Always try to look at things we don't like in a positive way!

    Dear Pratishtha, I am absolutely heartbroken for you and can not even begin to imagine the magnitude of the loss...You are in my heart and in my thouts. All words seem to be so powerless.I think of people who live as those who are going tot he much happier places where there is no illness, no pain, no aging, just light! I will be waiting for you to be back whenever you ready to be back.

    I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It is never easy to lose somebody. I lost two of my closest grandparents and my cat, who was my best friend for 18 years, in 2010. It's difficult. Know that everyone loves you and is praying for you.
    And remember to keep smiling and laughing. That always helps. :)

    I lost my daughter to cancer on Oct 23, 2009. She had the number one Dr. in the world who flies to India on long weekends to do surgery on cancer patients of throat, neck, and tongue.
    I went through 15 months of the deepest grief I have ever known...there are still moments that it doesn't seem real and I think she is going to walk through the door but she is safe in the arms of Jesus and the bible assures me we will be reunited.
    My father is alive so I don't know the pain of losing a parent but my only daughter was sooooooo very painful.
    I am here for you and I am praying for God's peace to embrace you.

    I´m sorry for your loss. My Dad passed away too about 4 years ago. It was hard to accept it at first because he was quite young to be gone for good but we´ve accepted it.

    I'm sorry I didn't reply immediately after I got your last comment regarding your dad. I'm very sorry for your loss and hope you're doing well under these circumstances. It must be incredibly painful, especially after what happened to your mum as well. My father-in-law died suddenly last October and I think all my in-laws are just now starting to face what has happened. I just hope you keep strong and have the support you need at this time.
