Cheer or Jeer

Just when you think you have seen it all… comes the bizarre fashion trend to plug all bizarre fashion trends – Backtacular Gluteal Cleft Shield. Ahem! US Designer Kimberly Brewer’s website describes Backtacular as a hypoallergenic, decorative, adhesive patch applied directly to the skin above the upper cleft of the buttocks. Each package comes with two replacement tapes.
I have never been a fan of low-cut jeans, and don’t really know what to say for the new “fashion trend”. It definitely does not fit into my Style radar. But I guess I am just old-fashioned. I don’t know what’s worse, unexpected and unpleasant sightings of rears, or a sticker “right there. I’ll spare myself the tough decision, and let you decide.

What the h...?! This is the weirdest thing. Even if I'll definitely will give this decoration a miss, I love that you introduced us to it.

Haha I read about that on CocoPerez, it's so weird looking. People should just wear jeans that fit & cover up their crack instead haha.

Uhh, what kind of idea is this, ugh! And yeah, low cut jeans can be so annoying. To me anything can be in trend, just make it look unique =)

And, thanks for the support, I got some tickets, but not the meet and greet passes, not giving up =.=

Well, it's unanimous, then. This is one of the weirdest trends I have seen in a long time. I sure hope it doesn't catch on. The patch springing out of people's rear every time they bend forward... NIGHTMARE!

Hmmm.... I also dislike the idea of showing buttocks in low-cut jeans. The idea is good, but I don't know if it would be that useful.

Not sure if I love this whole trend ... I totally agree with you in thinking that fashion should always be classy, and this is a bit trashy. Great post!

It does look very strange.I have to say that nothing about it looks appealing to me: colors, design and the way it makes the back look so odd and just strange! I can never understand how people come up with this things on the first place....
I am wishing you wonderful week and hoping it will be warm and sunny!:-)

Hello my friend! First, thank you so much for your sweet comment...you always make me smile. Second, wow...this is a very bizarre trend and I think I would almost rather see underwear underneath the low-cut pants than this strange sticker thing! haha Or better yet, jeans should fit.... :) I agree with you, definitely not a fan.

Happy Monday to you!

I was really surprised to find this on tv and I laughed out loud since it's so ridiculous! I wouldn't try it even if I were given one free but I gotta give them credit for coming up with a crazy idea!

This is a bit strange but you can't blame people for trying to make money with new gimmicks. To be honest though, if you have low-cut jeans and don't want to show off your assets, the easiest thing to do is a) wear underwear or b) to just wear a belt. Sticking tape to your back just seems a bit pointless.

Dear Prati,
So glad you came by. It is a hard time, so sorry for your loss. It has been five years for me. I'd like to think they have met in heaven.
As for these stickers - uugh! I'm like you, a bit old-fashioned when it come to showing what should be kept 'under wraps'!!
Take care and sending a big hug!
