Indian weddings are, like any wedding in any part of the world, family affairs. They are meant for bonding with your friends and family, and dressing up. There are so many ceremonies, and so many occasions to dress up for. I kept my make-up minimal. Thankfully, winters are good for my skin. And I found this salon in Lucknow where the lady did magic with my hair. The Sari is done by a very talented designer, Vishal Mehra.

I'm glad there was a break for you, the wedding looks lovely. My mum & sister are secretly obsessed with Indian weddings, I remember my teacher as a kid, my aunt took my teachers wedding video to watch.
This was so fun to read about, I am just so fascinated and interested in cultures all around the world! You look so gorgeous in those beautiful clothes, especially in the last photo! Seriously stunning.

Everyone looks so stunning! I've never attended an Indian wedding, but my friend has and it seems to be quite the big event. I love how everyone goes all out (and I've been told that the minimum for an Indian wedding is 200 guests, but I know people who've had up to 800? Insane!). All the saris are so beautiful...
